Narrative:

The architect of this new home was removed before the framing was complete. We were asked to add "reason" to the cavernous family room, dining area and kitchen - which all had sloping ceilings running every which way.

Obviously, this is a very specific aesthetic that may not appeal to some but was exactly what the customer wanted.
